4 Plays to get your Podcasting Mojo back

Surprise!🎉🎉We’re going to talk about podcasting, everybody. In this episode of The 4am Report, we’re going to give you four plays to get your podcast mojo back, whether you’ve fallen out of love with your podcast (because you’re not seeing results or not using it to its full potential) or you’re just bored of the same-oldđŸ„±

As Bobby McFerrin (and Bob Marley) sangđŸŽ”: “Don’t worry, be happy”, because we’ve got four plays to get your podcasting mojo back:

  1. Get your podcast seen and heard by integrating it on your website

Your podcast should be just as important as your blogs; it allows your thought leadership to shine. You’re not going to leave your logo out of your website homepage, so why leave out your podcast? Find a good spot for it on your website so it can be easily found and heard.

  1. Utilize good writing (and spin it into as many content pieces as you can)

We believe that your podcast should be a content anchor that you can spin off into many other content pieces in different formats, from video and audio clips to show notes, social and blog copy or quick Tumblr-style posts. Maybe you have a theme that ties several episodes into one bigger blog post. Just make sure you’re consistently publishing.

  1. Change up the format

Think beyond the single guest interview and mix up your formats. Try a panel to bring more interaction to your show (and more people promoting it on their channels). We also share some tips on finding your panel, whether internally or externally, locally or internationally.

  1. Use the material from your pipeline

Share your podcast in your sales pipeline. You talk about various topics in your  podcast, so when you’re having conversations that relate to this, send links through to the person you’re connecting with. This minimizes your own writing work and can even help gauge their commitment in later discussions.

👂Tune in to the episode to find out how to fall in love with podcasting again👂.
