Isn’t this just a Silicon Valley fairytale?Ā 

Well yes.
AND… it’s a lesson in risk and reward for every small business owner, creative, and solopreneur out there.

OpenAI bet big, losing a whopping $540 million in 2022. They were burning money; AND they were stoking the fires of innovation.
Look where it got them.
Monthly revenue soaring from $28 million to $80 million?
Check.
A user base the size of a small country?
Double-check.

The underlying message here, for the entrepreneurial mind, is the power of confidence and intelligent risk taking to grow. OpenAI’s high-stakes gamble wasn’t just confined to the nerd dens of tech developers. They expanded into enterprise solutions, teamed up with Microsoft, and threw in top-tier security measures. And guess what? It made them the youngest unicorn in history.

It’s not just the tech giants who can roll the dice.Ā 

With AI tools like ChatGPT, and now, Claude, Bard, Llama, Perplexity and so many more, even small businesses can up their game, turn mundane tasks into automated workflows, and free up time for the kind of work that actually pays the bills and checks off the bucket list.

Is ChatGPT Liberal? Acknowledging bias in AI tools

This is not in your head, kind AI enthusiast! Popular AI chatbots do indeed have distinct political biases, recent research confirms. Scientists present that OpenAI’s ChatGPT ā€œleans left-libertarianā€, while Meta’s LLaMA ā€œleans right and more authoritarianā€.

“Our findings reveal that pretrained [language models] do have political leanings that reinforce the polarization present in pretraining corpora, propagating social biases into hate speech predictions and misinformation detectors,” the researchers said.
