The Other EQ

A skeptical nihilism had taken over my thoughts. Sometime, somewhere in Winter 2021 What’s missing in content in 2021 is an “entertainment quotient” — The Other EQ As my day drew to a close, and a cloak of darkness began to creep over a moonless sky. I wondered to myself, “What’s the point? Does any of this actually matter?”

My eyes blurry from 12 straight hours of staring at the screen, I hit ‘post’ on one last piece of digital content.

I already knew the outcome.
There was so much clutter.
I was lost among the cookie-cutter marketing.

I was about to shut the laptop for the night, when I saw it.

A blooper reel!

My tired eyes re-focussed.
It had hundreds of likes. And actual comments. The engagement was through the roof.

I smiled for the first time that day.
And I watched the entire thing.
I wish people would entertain more in their business content. I sigh.
