Last week, on the 4 AM Report, we delivered three times the fun with three mini-episodes that ran throughout the week. 💫💥🎉💫
And while they may have been mini – they’re were still chock full of mighty Anchor Theory goodness, inspiration to help you take your content marketing to the next level! 💪💪💪
We focused on the three Bs that could be holding you back – budget, bandwidth, and burnout.
In episode one, we tackled the thing that is probably keeping you up at night *koff koff* – the dreaded budget!!
How does the Anchor Theory of content creation relate to budgets? B*tch please. 🤣🤣🤣 We’ve spent the whole of November telling you how to create MORE with LESS!
Seriously though. All kidding aside. These are tough times.
Yes, a budget is potentially the largest obstacle for many people, so we wanted to break down the budget thing a little bit. Talk about why being honest upfront about how much you have to spend often leads to increased collaboration at the back end.
How relationships and working together can usually alleviate any budget worries potential clients have. And why our flywheel method and Anchor Theory of content creation helps build out a library of valuable thought-leadership material.
That’s why we’re sharing our special sauce of how batch production equals efficient dollar usage!
As the great Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek puts it:
Bandwidth
In the second mini episode we talked bandwidth.
Are you feeling a little overwhelmed these days, when it comes to mental bandwidth? We are, that’s for sure.
🦠🦠🦠 Covid-19 🦠🦠🦠 has left us ALL stretched a bit thin (👈👈👈 understatement!) – servicing clients (YAY!), planning for 2021, while still finding the time to 📯 toot our horns 📯with our own content output.
It’s CRAY!! BUT not impossible.
Step one: Stop thinking of a “blog post” as 500 to 750 words of copy! Instead, take a page from our book – add video clips, audio snippets, animations, images, memes, graphics – any and all the rich media you can find to help spin off your anchor content.
Don’t worry if you can’t do the splits. 🤣🤣🤣 What people think of “blogging” has evolved. And the key is to NOT go radio silent because you’re too busy to produce your own content. Rich media is the gift that keeps on giving!
Burnout
And finally, in mini episode number three, we tackled 🔥🔥🔥 BURNOUT!!! 🔥🔥🔥
If you’re NOT suffering from some form of burnout at the moment, well bully for you, Mr. Robot!
But we certainly are, and so are most of the peeps we chat with on the regular.
Home schooling. Work-from-home. Money stress. Loss of rituals and routines. Keeping a business afloat. This year has already been a 💥DECADE💥 and yet, we all must keep going.
And one big thing that helps in times of stress and uncertainty? Humour. Little moments of joy.
In this episode, we talk about injecting humour, levity, and laughter into your marketing. You don’t have to be the Court Jester, but don’t be afraid to have – and share – some fun!
